Soroptimist International of Long Beach
Soroptimist is a volunteer service organization for professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world. The Long Beach club is a part of Soroptimist International of the Americas which has more than 1,300 clubs in 130 countries and territories. Soroptimist clubs receive assistance in their volunteer efforts by participating locally in programs developed and sponsored by the organization. The Long Beach club is in the Camino Real Region.
Live Your Dream Awards
Soroptimist’s Live Your Dream Awards program is a unique education award for women who provide the primary financial support for their families. The Live Your Dream Awards give women the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.
